Bending method
There are various methods of pipe bending, generally manual bending and mechanical bending.
Mechanical bending methods and a variety of methods, such as pressure bending method, roll bending method, back bending method and squeeze bending method.
Regardless of which bending method, the main conflict in the entire bending process is how to overcome the local deformation.
The most widely used in engineering is the manual bending and back bending method of pipe bending process. Back bending method is in the rotary bending machine bending, it can be divided into two kinds of mold bending and bending without mold.
Manual bending does not require special equipment and complex process equipment, it can bend a variety of radii, angles and space towards the bend. But this bending way labor-intensive, low productivity, quality is not stable enough.
Manual bending of steel pipe more than the use of hot bending, for stainless steel and non-ferrous metals should be used in cold bending.
Bending before filling the tube filler, steel pipe filler is generally pure, dry fine sand, stainless steel and non-ferrous metals filler is appropriate to use rosin, lead and other low melting point substances to prevent wrinkling and reduce the ellipticity.
With mold bending
This type of pipe bender are bent with a mold. The main mold has a disc-shaped groove wheel and croco core head two.
Bend with a disc-shaped groove wheel bend die on the outside of the tube, bend half of the tube lying in the groove, the other half of the bending area tube is grooved small roller (also known as compression rollers) pressed.
The end of the tube is fixed in the disc-shaped bending die by the chuck, if the compression roller does not move, the disc-shaped bending die active rotation to complete the bend, known as pull bending type;.
If the tube is thrust to make the disc-shaped bending die subordinate rotation to complete the bend, known as the push-bend type.
If the disc-shaped bending die does not move, the compression roller presses the tube around the disc-shaped bending die rotation to complete the bend, known as the pressure bending type.
Bend with a crook core head bend die in the tube, crook core head like a crook, the axis length of 1/4 circumference, bending radius and bend the same, the maximum bending angle of 180 °.
Ram’s horn core head thin end is slightly thinner than the inner diameter of the billet, the billet from the thin end of the set into the thick end is the exit, slightly thicker than the inner diameter of the billet. Bending pipe billet first heated and then set into the mold, the tube under the action of thrust bending and expansion of the two processes, slide out of the end of the core head bending forming.
No mold bending
This bending method used by the bender does not specifically determine a bending radius of the bending die.
It can be divided into two types of pull bending and push bending. Bender has a rotating arm, the arm length can be telescoped, bending the pipe is fixed in the arm, the pipe center axis to the center of rotation of the arm distance is the bending radius.
When working, the tube is set on the copper induction ring, induction ring through the medium frequency (for thicker tubes) or high frequency (for thin tubes) electricity will be locally heated to 900 ~ 950 ℃, and then bend the tube.
If the active rotation of the arm to bend the tube back into shape is called pull bending type; if the end of the tube is thrust, the tube to push the arm rotation, so as to achieve the tube back into the bend into shape is called push bending type.
Immediately after the induction circle from the inside of a small circle of holes to the bent section of the pipe spray water, so that it quickly cooled. The purpose of water spraying is to limit the heating section and deformation area to a very small area, thus preventing the tube from creasing and flattening.
